Attorney Qian Wen participated in the White House Roundtable on the Asian American and Pacific Islander Community

Attorney Qian Wen recently participated in the White House Roundtable on the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community. In 2009, President Barak Obama signed an Executive Order that restored the White House Initiative and President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to address issues regarding their respective communities. The most recent Roundtable attracted participants from the member countries to develop and refine initiatives to improve their quality of life and economic opportunities by facilitating increased access to Federal programs; ensuring educational opportunities; helping AAPI owned businesses to grow; improving health outcomes; and reforming legal immigration. Attorney Wen will participate in future roundtables to stay informed on the progress of these efforts.
