Regina has a vast array of experience in immigration and criminal court. She is a former felony prosecutor, with the Dade County State Attorneys Office. Regina specializes in immigration litigation with a special emphasis on waivers of removal, and she will oversee the firm’s litigation department. She is a tenacious litigator and widely considered one of the top immigration litigation attorneys in South Florida. H-1B Deadline Approaches

It is that time of year again. To all persons with university degrees or equivalent work experience, do not miss the opportunity to apply for an H1B visa. The H1B is granted to professionals and is typically valid for six years with the ability to extend for additional years if a labor certification is pending more than 365 days. The H1B lottery will commence April 1, 2009. 65,000 visas are allocated for Fiscal Year 2010 and an additional 20,000 visas are allocated for those with US masters degrees. Despite the recession, these visas are still expected to go quickly. In fact, last year more than 220,000 applicants applied on the very first day.
